WHY DO WE WEAR WHITE?

“As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.” Daniel 7:9

11)”Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb 12)and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.” Mathew 20: 11-12

The Transfiguration

“1)After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2)There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.” Mathew 17:1-2

“2)There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3)His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.” Mathew 28: 2-3

“Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.  Revelation 4:4

The Great Multitude in White Robes

9)”After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”  Revelation 7:9 

“Fine linen, bright and clean,was given her to wear.” Revelation 19:8
